    IPA Beer Body

Water was part of my decisions to move (and then move back) to the Pacific Northwest. Also, there's been a lot of great beer here for many years. Including (back to the thread topic, sort of) an IPA (Bridgeport) that, back in the '90s, won the gold in a British competition, back before "West...

In addition to testing results, my water supplier offers this info for homebrewers.

    Carboy problems

Per hour? Even though I've abandoned glass carboys, and been injured by one, I gotta say: it's possible to overstate (or, yes, understate) the risks. And the benefits.

    IPA Beer Body

Increased body (or mouthfeel?)? Higher temp mash was my first thought. Crystal/oats/flaked barley/Munich additions seemed like the other obvious idea. But I was intrigued by the suggestions (from @CascadesBrewer & @Nate R) that minerals (aka water chemistry) could be an important contributor...

    4 gauge secondary for kegerator?

Nice build, @Kickass . And those Kegland in-line regulators are certainly both svelte and inexpensive.

    4 gauge secondary for kegerator?

Fitting lines through the hole is only one reason to switch to slender EVAbarrier, which may outperform "ultra barrier" in excluding oxygen.

    4 gauge secondary for kegerator?

... or mount the regulator externally as @Bobby_M suggests. Sounds like you'd likely have both options with that two door Komos unit.

    4 gauge secondary for kegerator?

The double door Komos might work with a multi-body secondary regulator on an inner door, but probably not with 8 kegs. A more svelte regulator without the big, handy knobs of the Tap-Rite, might prevent collision between the knobs and the keg tops.

    Windows 11

This seems even more true of Android, btw. Not sure how iOS compares. In my years supporting business use of (Windows) computers, I found that users struggled mightily with the concept of drives, directories/folders, path names, etc. The "gigantic box" style of storage management seems...

    Windows 11

It appears that MS will be reducing some of the concerns with Recall, and making it entirely opt-in. Still, seems worrisome.

    4 gauge secondary for kegerator?

It's tight, but this works well in my Kegco XCK-1B-4 with strap-handle kegs. Rubber-topped kegs might not fit.

    Chapman 20gal Mash Tun Upgrade

I've got a smaller Chapman. The insulated wall makes for slightly odd fittings, likely metric. The pickup tube looks like this:

I'm so lost. HELLLP! Just upgraded from white buckets to 10+ gallon stainless system...

Crude guess: 1-3/4 cups, boiled in a pint or so of water, then cooled. Others' advice will likely have greater precision.
