    Today I transferred my Old Hooky best bitter to my 19 litres Corny Keg. It finished at 1.012 giving the beer an ABV 4.5% bang on the real stuff. 😺

    A pint of Hopback Summer Lightning clone from Graham Wheeler’s recipe. It’s a simple British Golden Bitter 5%. Maris Otter, Challenger & EKG with a Nottingham yeast.

    Just a point of clarification are people putting English when they mean British? Don’t forget that NI, Scotland, Wales and Cornwall are not English.

    An American Amber using Kveik yeast. The grain bill could be a British Bitter but the Kveik gives it a totally different taste.
