Cast Iron Draft Tower Build for 3 taps

Is this what is needed? It isn't obvious what the thread size wants to be. HD also carries a 1" version. fwiw, Googling "Black Iron Side Outlet Tee" yields the richest set of hits. There are some larger thread sizes included...

Equally Obnoxious Hockey Trash Talk Thread, eh?

Looks like the Bruins will be hitting the links as they could not stop the Panthers tonight, losing 2-1 in a hard played game to close the series out 4-2. Good luck to Florida!

BrewPiLessGx: BrewPiLess with Touched TFT display

A 2.2K pull-up to 3.3V is only a 1.5ma source. ESP32 IO pins are rated up to 40ma each (of course you can't actually use them like that ;)) so 1.5ma is a walk in the park. Also, the DS2413 spec for the IO pull-up is 1.5K min/2.2K max so there isn't much range there. If the ESP32 One-Wire driver...

BrewPiLessGx: BrewPiLess with Touched TFT display

fwiw, the DS2413 uses a "parasitic power" scheme which requires the host to be capable of same. The original version of BrewPi never supported parasitic powered ds18b20's and afaik none of the derivatives do, either, so I wonder if they could support the DS2413... Cheers!

Native ESP8266 BrewPi Firmware - WiFi BrewPi, no Arduino needed!

Now now. You should be happy I got rid of allll the port forwarding here, and use my NAS as a tunnel endpoint vectored through Synology. And what I'm running in my brewery for taplist and chamber controls are the moral equivalent of toasters. And there's no need to replace a toaster unless the...

The Dysfunctional-Palooza Obnoxious Masshole BS Thread

Today I laid out our veggie garden with drip irrigation and landscape cloth and tomato stakes and pepper cages, and was seeing sheets of pollen being stirred out of the big oaks on the property. Fortunately I'm not allergic to pollen because I'm sure I inhaled plenty of it. My truck has turned...

    Experience with Northwest Hop Farms?

Phil responded to the email I sent him regarding the hops he sent me and I learned he is a transplanted Kiwi. His company spent over $10K on the new bagger so he was hella keen to get my take on that :) He seems quite earnest and eager to square away the old baggage he acquired with the...

    Experience with Northwest Hop Farms?

These arrived today from Northwest Hop Farms, sent by Phil Salisbury who is an owner of the company, as a demonstration of their new and greatly improved bag handling. They are quite properly vacuum sealed with no fewer than four heat-embossed seal lines, two each on either side of the bag cut...

    overcarbonation

I confess that reminds me of when my Micromatic stout faucet breeched its internal gasket resulting in a stout geyser that was only stopped by disconnecting the QD inside the keezer. She only had a bottle to discharge. I had a five gallon keg

Help - possible infection with first ever bottled batch?

Welcome to the forums at Homebrew Talk, @GDSWelder :mug: From what I can see it sure looks like tiny yeast rafts, and tbh I have yet to see a similar image that did not turn out to be...tiny yeast rafts. I'd say carry on - and give a bottle a try... Cheers!

Native ESP8266 BrewPi Firmware - WiFi BrewPi, no Arduino needed!

It totally is! The only thing I actually use DHCP for is guests. Every other entity on my LAN has an assigned IP address, one way or the other. For the vast majority, the devices support static addressing directly. The rest live under the kind auspices of Address Reservation. I maintain a...
