- Nice, clean, hoppy Ale beverage
This is a pretty simple House Pale Ale or you could call it an ISA. It is Hoppy, and the Malt profile is flavorful.
This is a 6 Gallon Batch:
11 lbs 2 Row (88%)
1 lb Vienna (8%)
.5 lbs Crystal 10 (4%)
(Mash for 60 @ 152F)
.5 Centennial FWH
.5 Centennial @ 10
.5 Cascade @ FO
.5 Amarillo @ FO
.5 Simcoe @ FO
Additional: Water is Portland OR water treated with Campden, and 1 Tsp Gypsum. Whirlfloc was added at 15
Ferment at 68 F with rehydrated SA 05
Dry Hop at day 7 or Fermentation:
1 oz Simcoe
1 oz Amarillo
.5 oz Cascade
Additional Keg Dry Hop
.5 Simcoe
.5 Amarillo
Got a little festive with the pic....
