    Favorite of experienced brewers.

    Odd man out here; favorite style is a brut. Absolutely love the dryness and pucker effect they give. Although, I also make a wicked nasty high ABV bourbon stout.

    Added dry hops to my brut rye IPA tonight. Decided to take a gravity sample which I rarely do. Man does it taste fantastic already.

    I did this a few years ago by accident. After bottling, the beer had a very bitter tannic flavor. A few months later it was better but still tannic.     Brewing with extract (flavoring) - can't get it right

    I’ve used the Brewer’s Best extract with mixed results. Their pineapple in a citrus forward IPA is excellent. The strawberry goes from not flavorful enough to tasting like medicine.     What are you drinking now?

    This was to be an M43 strawberry IPA clone. I’m now calling it Strawberry Gremlin IPA. List of problems I experienced with this batch is, well, not worth typing. All in all, it’s finally bottled and tastes ok. Hoping the next batch goes like normal. 🍻
