    So I have a friend that's from Lebanon and owns land there too. He was wondering if he would be able to grow hops there and if the climate is right. He also wonders what kind he could grow there. This may be a tough question, but if you would be able to answer this please do.

    How much yeast packets should I use?

    So I'm brewing a Double IPA and it's supposed to have a OG of 1.087. I have 2 packets of White Labs San Diego Super Blend (WLP090) and it was packaged on January 7 2016. Will this be enough yeast or should I go out and buy more packets or make a starter?

    Winterizing hops question

    So I cut down my hops and they were starting to yellow/brown. I cut them to the crown about 2-4 in high. This isn't to short is it? Did I do this right or wrong and also should I add potassium fertilizer now?

    Temp of fermenting beer question?

    Just brewed my first ever batch of beer and its fermenting currently. It's been two days and I forgot to put my fermometer on the carboy. The temperature of the beer is at 74-76 degrees F. I heard over 70 will cause off flavors in the beer. Is my beer screwed or is it fine? It's an IPA by the way.
