    Longest Brew Day Ever

I've had some frustrating brew days result in very good beer. I hope yours works out well.

    WOW, this community is awesome!

Before I bought a chest freezer and controller, I used ice packs in a cooler, or even just set ice wrapped in a towel on top of the fermenter. You can probably find videos on YouTube.

    L17 no action

I've had liquid yeast go bad during shipping. Mine smelled wrong.

    Warmer start than I wanted...

I haven't used that yeast, but I have had some temperature variations at the start that didn't hurt the result.

    Hello!

Welcome aboard! That's a good success rate. I'm still trying to perfect my lager after several years. Good luck, keep us posted.

    Mash Bag vs Malt Pipe

I've used a bag in my Brewzilla, others have too. Last time I didn't, no problems. I mostly use it to contain the grain, I haven't had a stuck mash.

9.2% BGSA bottle conditioning inconsistency 3 months after fermentation began, 2 months after bottling

I don't know. I made a big Belgian once that needed six months in the bottle to mature. It stayed good for a couple of years, then fell off. I think the only thing you can do is keep aging. If it's oxidized or infected it will probably get worse. Keep us posted. Welcome aboard!

    Pumpernickel Light Porter (?)

It looks like an interesting recipe. One website I looked at recommended Carafa only up to 5% of your recipe. I think the rye and Vienna will give you a nice base. Welcome aboard, keep us posted.

    Unique "shaken baby" mead issue

Welcome aboard! I haven't made mead, nor shaken any of my beers intentionally. I do think that chilling for a while didn't hurt it. It may not have absorbed much oxygen if it was venting CO2. In any case, there's not much you can do now. Good luck, keep us posted.

    Bottling home made root beer

I haven't made that recipe, but I did bottle MrBeer in 12oz glass, so I would think you can too.
