My understanding is inches of pitch to inches of length. That would make 1.5 inch per 12 inches, not feet. Even "flat" roofs have to account for drainage, or else they'll leak, or have water pool up.

Looking at minimums for a lean-to, suggestions are 1.5" x 12". That would be 10.5 inch for the 7 foot length.

My understanding is that apples grown for hard cider are not the same as those grown for eating, but I make mine with store bought juice. I would not be surprised if the skins changed the character.

How are you defining 5 years? I've been here for 12 years, I first brewed in 1992. I'm gluten free, so my go-to is always an apple cider. For beer, I usually go back to sorghum based brow ales.

Not beer, but I finally used about 1.5 gallons of home grown lemon juice in a hard lemonade. Also kegged 5 gallons of ginger cider that's been sitting a while.

Are you kegging or bottling? How much of that equipment do you currently own, vs plan to buy? Also, what are the length X width? 4' X 10' isn't the same as 3' X 13.3'

I have 4 taps, and room for 3-5 gallon carboys and 1-2 gallon. I usually try to have 1 apple cider, 1 cran-raspberry cider, 1 ale and 1 small tester.
