Former Microbrewery Founder & Pro Brewer
I'm getting back to homebrewing after opening a ~1000 bbl/year commercial brewery (which I sold off my ownership interest in) where I was responsible for our wholesale division and haven't touched a brewhouse in probably 3+ years and haven't homebrewed in probably 6. I see a number of Grainfather-type knock-offs and was looking for peoples thoughts on where the best bang for the buck is. I was also hoping for some guidance on what to expect for various features like:
* Whirlpooling capabilities
* Chiller options
* Capacity expectations (grist weight)
* Automation features
* Ease of use & cleaning
* Transfer expectations
Any guidance and feedback on what you're currently brewing on would be greatly appreciated!
