Help with a Lime Tree Lager

Hi folks Looking for some guidance on kegging. This extract hit calls for 2 weeks active fermentation, then 2 weeks secondary. Then at bottling you add the lime sugar etc However.... I'm kegging. How should I approach this?

    Confused about my first brew

I think I was probably not sober or not reading the hydro correctly!! :) When I checked it, I had just added the yeast so I want to say about 80F. But honestly, after your info, I genuinely dont know if I used they hydro correctly or read it correctly. Anything I can do now to check it without...

    Confused about my first brew

'if you're saying it was 1.017, and your final gravity was 1.008 (on a triple scale 1% but that's supposed to be subtracted from first reading) then i'd say the extract wasn't mixed into it throughly for the first reading....' Sorry yes. This. Still learning how to read the hydrometer! :-)

Here's mine. As an Irishman living in NJ, I was very sad that the Guinness was so hit and miss around the area. So I solved it by putting my own one at home! :-)

    First Keezer Build - Progress

A long time has passed and I realized I never updated this! So it's all finished (for now). I have two towers. One is strictly for Guinness and the other I rotate with whatever I have at a given time. I added castors to allow it to be moved outside for parties and summer time etc. I added...

    Newbie needs help

Hey guys, really hoping you can help. I did a great nitro set up, was really proud but in one day my 5lb of gas is empty. I must have a leak! I have a new regulator here ready to swap out, it may have been it. However on this gas line connector, am I missing a gasket or o ring? It's just...

    First Keezer Build - Progress

Couple of updates on this. It slowed down over the week but back at it this weekend. After taking the advice above I built the 'box' on three sizes, but I fitted small inch fan each side pointing down, in an attempt to deflect any heat that might gather on those sides, out through the bottom...

Help with equipment for Guinness Keezer

Hi guys, Some of you may have seen my other thread (which will be updated today) but I am looking for some advice on a few items for my Guinness set up. I want to buy my U Coupler (damn they are pricey) I was going to buy 3/16th vinyl beer tubing. Will this tubing be the same size for the...
