What book is on your nightstand? Readers!

I will look into those. I ended up getting Termination Shock, The Ministry for the Future and the 3rd book in the Peter Clines series.

Man they got you too. I picked up a box set of the first 3 for 1 money, and once I got sucked in I had to $$$.

Well that book is sort of part of a set, but I think the author doesn't want it advertised that way. Technically Apartment 14 is the first book in the set, but it doesn't matter what order you read them in, and I think the Fold is a much better book personally. I may or may not have mentioned...

What book is on your nightstand? Readers!

This book is currently free on Audible, so I picked it up there, but haven't started it yet. There is another biography, written by a German solider from WW2 who fought on the Russian front, I can't find the title now, but it's a very good book. He eventually immigrated to Canada, and then the...

Just finished this Sci-Fi gem: I read Dave Grohl's autobiography and really enjoyed it. I'm about to start Artemis, by Andy Weir. Happy reading everyone.

    Hello from Ontario

Hello from Oklahoma, and welcome to the forum. Welcome back to the hobby, definitely a lot of changes in equipment and even techniques in the past 15 years. Sorry I can't help you with advice on that particular fermenter, but hopefully some others will chime in.

I am loving this book right now, I've always been an outdoorsman, but I'm learning a lot about trees in other regions, and the history of them as well.

That's really awesome. Perhaps he had a commission, or was in a tank, artillery or Airborne unit? Only guessing because that looks like an M1/M2 bayonet. Even more special because you have the scabbard.

Even if you didn't, I'd say having a Rigol at arm's length would more than make up for it.

Yakima Valley Hops selling some 2022, 2021 hops real cheap

You gotta be careful at Yakima, I ended up with like 15 lbs in the freezer on accident once.

Yakima Valley Hops selling some 2022, 2021 hops real cheap

$10 a lb isn't bad, I've definitely gotten hops cheaper from them before though. I can't believe I used to buy those little 1 oz packs years ago, live and learn.

I have pulled a muscle in my calf, and so my audiobook time while cycling to and from work has been cut to 0 lately. Very depressing as I absolutely love cycling. I've been reading on my Kindle in bed or on the couch, lots of books on corporate finance and business, along with some computer...

Sword of Truth was the first fantasy series I ever read, and I loved it. It does get rough after Chainfire though.

Just finished Skeletons on the Zahara, what an amazing story. I'm sure reading Captain Riley's memoir would be good, but I loved the more complete story, and how it was laced with modern scientific facts.
