The one element that makes Heady Topper SO UNIQUE is a smooth dankness that hits the mid-palette. It's in the aroma as well. All the tropical/citrus/pine elements are secondary to that IMO as far as what greets you.

Here's the thing: the 2-liter flip-top growler I want won't be available until months after we're operational. So I'm thinking I'll get the 1-liter flip-top now and then can see if the demand is there for the 2-liter down the road. I really want to stick to flip-tops, I like them MUCH better...
Myself, I find the half-gallon growlers too much beer to go thru, unless I have friends/company. But most times when I've picked up a growler that ain't the case and by the 3rd day it's lost a lot of carbonation and is not as good. Wasteful!
