Getting ready to bottle a Sweet Potato Farmhouse Ale batch ( substituted pumpkin for the sweet potatoes).
It is a knock off of a brew by Big Alice Brewing in Queens, NYC. No post-bottling instructions in recipe.
Question: How long after bottling can we drink ? I would like bottle tomorrow...
ah ha. I brewed a Stout one august, left it too long the fermenter. It came out So Bitter. It was drinkable, but with the almost unsweetened lemon-juice type of sour. Unpleasant.
I dropped an aluminum straw into a gallon of sanitiser a few weeks ago. (by mistake). Just got it out now. The paint on the outside of the straw is gone (metalic bue). No color in the sanitiser but wondering if I should dump it. It is bottling day. Probably should start with a new batch...
First time doing honey lager ("Rocky Raccoon's" it says here) So, If I add .25 oz of knox unflavored Gelatin to the boll at last 10 minutes, will that do anything to help clear it later
