I have the 1/3 hp pump from the same manufacturer. Worked very well cleaning kegs and kegerator tap lines for 10 months and then the motor failed. Called the company on the one year warranty and they are replacing. No hassles. Would recommend.
Retired the old (highly modified) Brinkmann bullet smoker and went to the dark side last weekend and bought a Traeger.
After doing the initial seasoning cook, I smoked 3 racks of ribs and a pound of bacon. Same recipe that I have used for years, but turned out so much better. Hell, I even...
Sunday, cleaned 4 kegs
Yesterday, picked and cleaned 5 ounces of coriander, checked on grapes. Still sour as hell.
Today, checked hop plants, dry-hopped NEIPA and added 6 lbs of blackberries to berliner Weisse.

Was waiting on my replacement sight glass to come in the mail and took that as an opportunity to deep clean the kettle. Took every fitting off and tore all of the valves apart and deep cleaned everything and put everything back together. Then had to remake my measurement marks for the new...
Recieved my replacement sight glass for my brew kettle and learned that pbw can ruin a polycarbonate sight glass if exposed for too long. Lessons learned.
I am still using an immersion chiller and don't want it sitting on the element, so I still leave the false bottom in. I have been debating switching to a CFC or plate chiller to speed things up a bit though. In that case, I would probably do the same.
Thanks. I am going to need it. I fully expect it to taste like crap the first few times that I make it, but at least it takes twice as long to find out. After years, I am still surprised, with every batch, that they actually taste good when I taste them for the first time.
