    Yeh true. I'm putting all the interesting stuff I learn into a spreadsheet. Anything that has math and spreadsheets is automatically even better. :)

    so far, keeping it interesting has improved the results dramatically. lol. The all grain brewing has been experimental, and not all have been big successes, but no complete failures either. Next up is going to be something similar to the good old Little Creatures Pale Ale.

    I have three rhizomes on their way in the mail right now. Cascade, Perle and Chinook. Could be we have the same ones :) Apparently hops is better suited more south of here, but because I'm in the hills I think its going to work nicely. Fingers crossed 🤞 My wife is only interested in torturing...

    oh I skipped the cleaning part too. I'm all about skipping, and crossing my fingers ;) I figure if it's good enough for horses to eat, then it's ok with me too.

    nice. Very similar to what I did, but I skipped drying and I skipped removing the extra growing bits, and went straight into the mashing stage. mmmmm

    Having brewed only from malt can kits in the past, I got a bit bored with it. Honestly if it's too easy, I'm more likely to get distracted, with sour results. Recently I discovered all-grain brewing, and it blew my mind. I had to do it right away, whether I had the right things on hand or not...
