How do you guys store your bottles of homebrew?

I store mine in something similar to this: I have a few of these kicking around from my deployments and whatnot. They hold 8 12pk's very nicely and can close to help keep out any light and contain any possible bottle bombs.

    Cream Stout

You guys have any ideas how I could best emulate the irish cream flavoring that comes from the baileys? Also what's a good comparable commercial stout I could compare the dark owl too and add some jamesons to test it out. Thanks!

    Cream Stout

Yah that sounds really good. I was just thinking that I might want to add some Irish Coffee beans to help complete the Irish Car Bomb Stout I'm secretly trying to make :)

    Cream Stout

I'm pondering the idea of adding some wood chips soaked in Jamesons Irish Whiskey to a nice creamy stout making an Irish Cream Stout. Does anyone have any good cream stout recipes I could use as a base. I searched but didn't come up with much. Thanks :mug:

    YIKES! Can it be saved?

If you don't have any type of chiller you should use an ice bath. Fill up your sink with ice and water and put your brewpot in there before you top up to 5 gallons. Take it straight from the stove to the sink. Cover it and leave it be until it gets to roughly 80 degrees then fill up to the 5...

    First AG brew!

I just read a post that said hydrometer's are very inaccurate over 100*. There's a chart where you can scale it to where it would be, but if its reading inaccurate it won't matter. It's too late now. Just gotta RDWHAHB. One thing I would recommend is next time cooling the test tube in a glass of...

    YIKES! Can it be saved?

So you tasted it after one week? Give it some more time my man. Whether or not the beers ruined its still plenty early in its "Green" stage so your really can't judge it at this point. No guarantees that time will heal it, but its already bottled so just wait at least two more weeks and crack...
