    Measure a vessle is empty in order to stop the pump (automation)

    I want to automate my herms so that when I've transfered from one vessle to another, it stops before the pump runs dry. I'm pretty sure people here have experienced with various sensors and found something that works well for this. I've got a lot of ideas, but I'm looking for a realible...

    Intro: I've just been a beer drinker for a few years. My neighbor introduced me after 3.5 decades of thinking it tasted like cat piss. Now I have yet to try cat piss so I can't say I was proved wrong, but at least I got the taste for the rich dark versions (porters, stouts and imperial stouts)...
