    Did I get some dead yeast?

    So, last night I made a yeast starter for today, .6L of water, 2.5 oz. of DME, and a pack of Safale US-05. Let the stir plate run all night and this morning I have a murky solution that seems to have no activity whatsoever. Should I start over with a new pack of yeast or should I pitch what I have?

    My first all grain...

    Well, here it is for your veiwing pleasure...my first all grain. It's as close to a ESB clone as I could find. 12lbs. of grain and lots of hops. Being my first grain beer, there were plenty of moments where I didn't know if it was even close to where I needed to be, but it came out dead on...
