    i think it was 5.6 over the 10 gallons, resulted in almost a completely flat brew, does it change all that much after the 3 week conditioning time?

    they will NOT be carbonated after 7 days, ask any of the regulars here, 3 weeks at 70f MINIMUM, you're just wasting them if you open them earlier than that

    hi, i just bottled 4.75 gallons of graff with a little over 4 oz of corn sugar dissolved in half a cup of water as a primer, and i have been looking at several time lapse video of bottle carbonating, is there any way to speed up the process so i can drink the delicious brew faster and not risk...

    unusual bottles.

    dont let this dismay you, take a wire wheel to it and they come right off, just have to be patient enough to scrub labels off of dozens at a time my personal favorite is the flip top grolsch bottles, they also save you a ton of time come bottling, and the bottles seem super heavy duty...

    just bought 125 bottles off of this guy, his dad was a homebrewer that passed away recently and his son is trying to get rid of his homebrew supplies he still has probably 120ish bottles left in great condition i got 125 bottles for 48 bucks...

    is it normal for the grains and everything to boil down to roughly 2/3rds of the input water, or should i have it boil covered?

    anyone had a cider with a large krausen, like a beer would? just wondering, largest ive ever seen was less than an inch tall, but i only fill my 6.5 gallon fermenter up to 5.5 gallons just in case, and wondering if this is just wasteful

    Finally hit the CL jackpot.

    a few weeks ago this guy posted in San Diego: 20 cases of 20oz bottles and several cases of 12oz, delabled, for free! just had to pick them up on his porch, missed it by 20 minutes
