Fried a terminal strip in my E-Herms control box

Thanks for all of the input guys. I found a screw that wasn't tightened down on a jumper of the terminal strip that is located on the front panel (for the element selector switch and main power button). And I also found one solder connection on the element switch that I was able to rock loose...

Fried a terminal strip in my E-Herms control box

Hi PJ, I used colored electrical tape where the wire color did not match the diagram. The e-stop is not connected in between the SSR and anything. It is setup exactly as line 2 is shown in the diagram. They are all connected to the same terminal block. Sent from my iPad using Home Brew

Must see breweries before you die!

I was just at Pilsner Urquell and Cantillion back at the end of May/ beginning of June. Both were amazing experiences. The Cantillion tour is self-guided and after you're done you get to sample the lambic, gueuze and either the Kriek, Rose De Gambrinus or the Fou' Foune.

I had my panel text printed at work. Unfortunately some of the text started coming of the last time I rinsed and cleaned it. I still have to cut the holes for the PID and timer. I put all of the switches, lights and buttons in place to see how it looked. Turned out great!

And the best part is that it was free! I should be able to utilize some plexiglas to make it more water resistant where the mesh is at the front and back of the case.

cherries in season! kriek brewers - give me your wisdom

The last dubbel that I aged on cherries, got 7 pounds of sour cherries and 5 pounds of dark sweet cherries. All washed, pitted and frozen. This year it's going to be 12-15 pounds of sour cherries. This is in a 5 gallon batch. And in a sour beer I'd definitely go all sour cherries.
