    Buying a new Pistol

Ive always told the wife, if she's going to pull the trigger, keep pulling till it clicks. .22 is enough with a full magazine in a walther. I won't confirm or deny, but their might be a few rat shot rounds in the magazine. I like a higher magazine count, but I also might have a .380 as a back up.

Maximum Return on Investment- The Supermarket

I know I'm blessed, but I live on a beef cattle farm, so the beef is no problem. The neighbors raise "milk" so there's an endless supply of milk as long as I keep a supply of cheese or steaks on hand. Another neighbor raises chickens: fresh eggs & dead roosters occasionally. The pig farmer down...

Guess I otra post up for the REAL (SWVA) VA

I'm from Marion Va. I brew occasionally at a local brewery, but I also own part of a "business" that "supplies" to a few breweries. If your're in the 24354 area, holler at me. If I'm low on taps, I have several thousand bottles of good stuff to drink.

    Frozen Lager

As always Yooper nailed it.... Any lager that freezes on me gets extra yeast for bottling, and for bottling only. Warm it up a little bit and you'd be suprised how many of the yeasties survived their frozen voyage.

    What's your profession?

Firefighter, for the good ole US Forest Service. Mostly in management & RX burning, although I am on a Type I Incident Management Team. It keeps me gone away from home a lot.

    Partial Mash as first brew?

My wife ordered my brewing kit for me several Christmas' past, and love her heart, got a PM batch. When I (the *******) re-ordered 3 all grain kits (b/c the last kits had grains right?) they arrived & I set out to brewing. After about 30 minutes in HBT chat & a trip to the hardware store, I...

Need advice on a AG Punkin Ale

I always use the pumpkin in the mash, roasted of course. Then use the spice pack in the boil. One year, I didnt have the pumpkins to put in the mash, so it was only the spices in the boil, and nobody knew the difference except me. Something to think about.
