    Homebrew Gear Cleanout

Well HBT... It's been a minute since I've been on here. Looking to clear out some of my homebrewing gear. Prefer Local Pickup in Central MA as most of this stuff is heavy. Fully welded Keggle with ball valve and sight glass/ dial thermometer on extra side port. $125. Minibrew HLT...

    Considering an eHerms 120V build.

I have been brewing on and off for quite a few years and have decided that my next piece of equipment will be an eHerms system built off a keggle. At some point I will probably upgrade, but for now I am only interested in going with 120V in a keggle. I want this to be portable and work using...

Anyone using a Stout Tanks System?

I'm looking at going for a 1-2 BBL system, and have been eagerly awaiting the launch of Sturdy Equipment. Since they are on a 2 year launch stall, I'm considering going with Stout Tanks instead. I'd love to hear some comments or reviews of their system.

Looking for trading partners in Westcoast/Midwest

I have access to a ton of the east coast breweries as well as the local New England nano brewers. I'd love to find a west coast or midwest partner to get access to the stuff we don't get. PM's are full until I re-up my membership, email at: anthonyClopez AT verizon DOT NET

    Sam Adams/Boston Beer

I'm a Bostonian and I've been drinking Sam Adams since before I was legal. I'm honestly sick of it. Am I a snob for thinking Sam Adams isn't that good anymore, or is it that there is just SOOOOO much good beer out there that they aren't at the forefront of the craft beer world. One of my...

    Need a Curvy Woman silouette

We are making a big imperial stout, and we thought we'd honor the female form with the name and label. We don't have a name, but we know what we want for a label. If anyone finds a good silhouette or can make one, please PM. I can't offer you any money, but might be able to work something...

    Aging an Imperial Stout

I'm looking for a recipe for a good imperial stout to age for the next few years. I don't think I will have access to an oak barrel, so this will have to be done in a corney keg or bottles. Any suggestions?

    Buying a new propane burner...

I have used an SQ14 for the last 3-4 years, and was very happy with it at ~$50. Since then, I haven't thought about buying a new one or looked at anything new. I brew with a keggle. I have seen the KAB4 and 6, but they are very expensive. Should I just get another SQ14 or is there some other...

Electric vs. Gas... Anyone done the comparison?

We are building a new brewery, and I really want to go electric so we can move inside during the winter and not worry about carbon monoxide build up from propane. I'd love to hear some people chime in on the price comparison of electric vs. propane. One of my brew partners is worried about...

I want some opinions... Ultimate home brewery Design

Hi guys- I haven't been as active as I have been in the past due to finishing my degree, bass tournaments, and getting engaged. For my final design project for one of my engineering classes, I'm going to design a home brewing system using Solidworks. The sky is the limit since I can build...

    How long will grains last?

After a conversation over the weekend, I began to doubt my perception of how long my grain will last uncrushed. Late last winter, my LHBS owner got a ton of extra grain due to a mistake by his distributor. I bought up a good bit of it for under $1 a pound and I have had most of it stored in...
