    Need more GT Synergy Bottles

I have about 20 GT bottles that I don't re-use any more for Kombucha. But, you probably don't live nearby. I don't use them because they don't carbonate the KT well anymore. I'm guessing the lids get old after a while. So, I now use 12oz or 22oz beer bottles along with flip top bottles. You can...

    Anyone Make/Keg Kombucha?

I've been making kombucha for about 4 years now. I started small, now i'm brewing with a 5 and 6 1/2 gallon big mouth bubbler at home that I bottle. I'm also brewing with a 31 gallon speidel fermenter at a local brewery that is transferred to 5 gal kegs and put on tap there. I bought all new...

My journey from mason jar to 5 gallon keg

Thanks.. My experiments are usually just different flavorings in secondary batches. I did do a coffee kombucha after reading a previous thread..turned out good. My biggest trials with secondary ferments have been with dialing in percentages of juice per amount of primary ferment. I did dial...

My journey from mason jar to 5 gallon keg

Hey there..My first 5 gallon batch started with a 1/2 gallon mason jar primary that I would have bottled but used for my starter for the 5 gal batch. I brewed 4 gallons of sweetened tea, cooled to aprox 76 degrees. then added tea, starter and scoby to my fermenter. I waited a week before...

My journey from mason jar to 5 gallon keg

Hello everyone.. I'm new to this forum and wanted to share my Kombucha journey. I'll try to keep it short. I first started home brewing beer with my husband almost 6 years ago and learned the art of fermentation. I stumbled upon Kombucha after hearing of all the benefits of drinking this...

    Hops kombucha

I wouldn't use hops in the primary fermentation.. You would use hops for a 2nd fermentation for the flavor. Do you do 2nd ferm?
