    Belgian Tripel Tripel Karmeliet Clone

Brewed this 4 weeks ago and just having a taste now. Excellent! I don't have a Triple Karmeliet to do side-by-side, but from what I recall its fairly close. I brewed Jefhron's last posted recipe. More cloudy than I would've thought but taste is awesome so who cares. Used wlp500, started at...

New England IPA "Northeast" style IPA

Just to report, i've brewded this with Amarillo-Mosaic-Galaxy. Result is a very nice beer, id rate it 4/5. Not as good as the original recipe with Citra though. Im not too good to describe it but I would say its just not as well balanced... A very nice neipa nonetheless! :)

New England IPA "Northeast" style IPA

Cool, so I went with something similar but Amarillo as the dominant hop. From the aroma I got from it i'm thinking it may not be as good as the citra/mosaic/galaxy combo, but i guess ill know in 2 weeks. Ill share my thoughts then! :)

New England IPA "Northeast" style IPA

Yep! Duly noted for next time! Do you use a hop bag or filter of some sort on the end of your racking cane?

New England IPA "Northeast" style IPA

The results of my first keg pour!! The beer is awesome. The only thing it lacks is maybe a bit more substance in backgrouns, but could be explained by my OG which was at 1.055 (still need to measure FG) and the fact that I didn't play at all with water chemistry this time around! This is...

New England IPA "Northeast" style IPA

I kegged this tonight, followed the original recipe. It was my first time kegging, and first time doing closed transfer... It didn't go so well! Do you guys keep the exhaust valve of the keg open when transfering or just open it from time to time? I had tied a hop bag on the end of my racking...

New England IPA "Northeast" style IPA

I guess I can be a bit more patient then. Since it'll be my first time kegging I was looking forward to drinking carbonated neipa's faster! :)

New England IPA "Northeast" style IPA

I was planning on brewing this in 2 weeks but can't seem to find galaxy hops anywhere! Seems like they were popular this year Would using Citra Mosaic and Amarillo be a good plan?

Belgian Pale Ale The Hitman. Belgian Pale Ale

I just rebrewed this, I upped both dry hops to around 0.85 oz, and even did a side batch in a 1 gal container with just about the same amount of dry hops, so I'm very curious to see how that little test will turn out. I'll report back in a few weeks!
