    "Taste the tea, if it is lacking then fix it now" maybe pretty ignorant here but what do I want the tea to taste like? Need it real strong and bitter from the tannin or make sure its really minty?

    so if the caps i have seen for sale - with a good plastic rubber seal inside should be suitable. do they eve n make a shrink wrap that would fit a growlers top?

My question is, I have access to beer growlers (1/2 gal) dark glass. Can these be used for long term storage with wine. say using the screw cap...
