    Cheap try at cider

I used too much cinnamon and my friends didn't like it but I couldn't really tell. I love those spices

    What's in your soup kettle?

You could add some kind of egg noodle, or my friend said to get the water spinning before adding the egg to consolidate it. Haven't tried that

    Cheap try at cider

The yeast is probably fine, are there any weird ingredients in the apple juice?

Beet Wine - My First Attempt

Don't you use kvass in some borscht recipes anyways? For boozy borscht maybe you should make your own kvass to get it to you reasonable abv. Homemade kvas is goood

Beet Wine - My First Attempt

Good luck, I'm sure you'll have good results. I left some for a while and it started to smell bad but I still drank it and didn't die. Yours will probably turn out better; just fine.

Beet Wine - My First Attempt

I love beet wine. I made a bunch, it's great. Needs some acid though, so I either add lime juice after its done or acid blend while brewing.

Belgian Blond Ale Revvy's Belgian Blonde (Leffe Clone)

Thanks for the recipe, it's absolutely excellent. Leffe is my favorite beer, and making it by the gallon makes me a happy camper.

Yeast cake from 5 gallons to 10 gallons

Yeah totally. The yeast reproduce after being pitched. You may want a second opinion, as I'm a novice.

Belgian Blond Ale Revvy's Belgian Blonde (Leffe Clone)

I'm not sure what that is but it sounds like it involves drinking. :goat: Further tests reveal that it is still not carbonated. I may force carb with a soda stream, drinking flat beer is kind of sad

Belgian Blond Ale Revvy's Belgian Blonde (Leffe Clone)

Wasn't carbonated much but managed to drink around 4 already. Side by side comparison reveals leffe is carbonated. And mine is not carbonated.

Belgian Blond Ale Revvy's Belgian Blonde (Leffe Clone)

Finished out at 1.01 with minor airlock activity. If I bottle it at 1.01 without priming there should be enough residual sugar to carbonate right? Added a small amount of boiled sugar just in case. Tastes pretty good without carbonation even. Finished out to around 7.6 or so

    What's in your soup kettle?

    Udon miso

Belgian Blond Ale Revvy's Belgian Blonde (Leffe Clone)

Might try bottling today. Did you rack yours yet?

    Cheap try at cider

That's what I do except I just use distillers yeast I have on hand

    Cheap try at cider

Boil up some sugar water and prime with it. Carbonation is the only way to save it in my opinion
