    Ukeg nitro

My only grievance is the cost of the cartridges. I think $3 for an 18 gram cartridge can get a little costly over time. Checking online and there are not too many options, some are N20, gotta do some research if that can be used for stouts without any adverse effects.

    Biab el cheapo hoist

After brewing with 18 lbs of dry grain (wet grain must have been way heavier!) that 2x2 did not flex at all when lifting the bag. I needed to keep this thing small enough so i can stash it away in my utility shed. I did attach the cleat tie later but the hoist auto locks anyways so its not...

Over ripe fruit flavor and aroma in homemade wine

My first few attempts at making fruit wine has ended up with an ok wine but its got an over ripe fruit flavor and aroma. The fruit was not over ripe when i used it to make the wines. This has been the case with a pineapple wine and a watermelon wine. Ive been using champagne yeast. What could...

Get a bigger humi!!! ;-) Seriously though, there are plenty of great domestic choices. Although i will say that any cigar will benefit from a nice rest in the humidor. For starters go to Arturo Fuentes, they have consistent quality, a few variations on the wrapper and some very nice maduros...

I agree on the construction part. Always perfectly crafted. I also agree that they are harsh. In your opinion is the year of rest worth it? Toraños gold come to mind in comparison, but man at the end of that rest you are rewarded with a flavorful, complex and smooth stogie.

04’ Siglo 6. These guys were tight to the point of been unsmokable. Aging them has finally shrunk the leafs enough to get some smoke through and they are great now!

Love Opus X. They do really well with a nice long rest in the humi. RG are also great and under rated. I remember pairing it once with Blue Mountain coffee and it was fantastic!

Those cigars they make for the locals are very interesting. Butt ugly, yet tasty. I have some Reloba and Moya thats been aging in the humi for a bit. Turning out quite nice. Enjoy friend!

“Less Netflix more books” said one of my students once. I fully agreed! Montecristo # 4 and Dragons Milk. Amazing pairing as the monte brings these nutty, woody smooth flavors to the complexity of these awesome beer.

Funny you said that. They did ask “what the hell is that?” with a worried look in their face. [emoji15][emoji28]

These guys right here! San Cristobal de la Habana, La Fuerza. With a nice bourbon porter i brewed some time ago were a one way ticket to heaven. The richness of the cigar paired really well with the porter to create a complexity of flavors that is hard to describe. They also go very well with an...

    Home Brew Podcast???

The Brülosophy guys are the most educational hands down. Beer Smith and Basic Brewing are very good as well. A lot of the other guys get too off track and ramble continuously. Brewing with style is not so bad once they focus on the topic, and if you dont mind the occasional burp right on the...
