    Has anyone primed with maple syrup?

    Itching to tap Maple trees and make maple syrup, and more beer. Just seen wine making recipes with maple syrup (liquid gold) and wondering if one can prime beer with maple syrup.

    First batch; Block Party Amber.

    I'm not crazy about the taste. Looks good though. Only about 1/4 inch of dregs. Really like Short's Bellaire Brown. Would appreciate recipes that resemble the Brown. 1.05 OG, 1.012 FG.
