    Hows this recipe look

I was aiming for an IPA, I am just a hair over on the SRM for color on the style, beer smith also has me at 89 IBU's, I figured thats about right which is why I don't have more hop additions, I might drop the chocolate malt, aim for a higher OG, and switch to yeast 1056 or 1272

Would this work in a mash tun?

I was thinking the other day on new ways to make manifolds and false bottoms for mash tuns and this crossed my mind. CT hop growing

I want to start growing my own hops I live in CT and not sure where to begin. What would be the best variety to grow in my area and what time of year should I plant. All the sites I have found only have info on growing like south or out west more. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks

    Just curious?

Is there any books out there on the subject? And I do have a pretty good backround in agriculture as I grew up on a apple orchard grafting and growing trees.

    Just curious?

So you can crossbreed and make different strains? Or will it be a plant that grows 2 different varieties
