    Two step fining with Bentonite and Gelatin?

    Have you tried to use Bentonite and Gelatin in a two step process, the same way as Kieselsol and Chitosan. Like them, other is negatively (bentonite) and the other is positively charged (gelatin). Would it be more effective way to clarify, than just using either by itself?

    Using litlle sugar on mead?

    Is using few hundred grams of sugar ok for raising the abv of mead? By my calculations, the mead is 83% honey for fermentable sugars. I'm adding berries after primary and backsweetening with honey.
