I have never purchased a full sack of grain before so how much volume am I gonna need to split a bag? Does a couple of 5 gallon buckets sound right or should I go buy a rubbermaid tub to put it in?

South Jersey/Philly Group Buy... ROUND 15!

I want to participate but I am in Baltimore. Is it a problem if I can't pick up on the scheduled day? My schedule goes back and forth weekly. A two hour drive is nothing compared to the savings cause I will be in for 4 sacks of grain..... (that is a reservation for 4 (or 5) sacks if it is okay)

    Price Check On Honey

I am guessing you are talking about the mesquite honey. If not then carry on :mug: I use Trader Joe's mesquite honey for my cysers. Two 3 pound packages and 5 gallons of the cheapest AJ in town. One year later the stuff carries its weight in gold :ban: Every thing I find at the...

    Question about Graff & Hops

I followed the recipe pretty much exactly but the AA in my hops were slightly higher. I can't even tell the hops are there. I am going to do a test batch with some low AA% so I can add more hops for flavor and try some dryhopping. Hopefully it comes out nice...

    Orchard Breezin' Blueberry Shiraz

That's exactly what I wanted to hear. I was gonna fortify so the fermentation was guaranteed to go smoothly but if you have proven it can be done then I think that's what I am gonna do.

    Orchard Breezin' Blueberry Shiraz

Thanks for all the responses. After its all fermented out I am gonna taste test a little and try to fortify it with something tastless(vodka/everclear). I guess it all depends on how fruity/sugary it is. Guess we will find out in a month!

    Orchard Breezin' Blueberry Shiraz

Just picked this kit up for half price. I couldn't pass it up for $30. Just wondering if anyone has any experiences with this kit or any Orchard Breezin' kits in general. I am expecting a sweet low abv wine. Prolly gonna add a little dextrose to kick it up a percent or two.
