    First hefe batch - overbearing Banana

    I bottled my first batch this weekend as well, and it was also a hefe (Franziskaner clone), and it too tasted of bananas from what I sampled. I love the banana taste. Paulaner tastes like bananas to me! I don't know the answer to your question but good luck!

    Has anyone ever made a beef & guinness (or beef & whatever stout) pie? I had some in Ireland and it was amazing.

    Greetings from Maine, the home of Shipyard, Allagash, Geary's, Gritty's, and countless other microbreweries. I got a kit this weekend and now have a Franziskaner Hefe clone brewing! This site looks awesome!
