hi all, after more than 40 successful all grain brews using my 3 tier system, i'm having some problems with my last couple of brews. my regular process has been to mash for 60 minutes, drain, sparge, drain. it has taken me usually 2 hours. but i just recently switched to BIAB, to...

Can i step up lambic yeast

hi, me and some fellow brewers are planning a lambic group brew. one question that came up, is can we create a single starter with a lambic blend and step it up gradually so we can use it for 4 carboys. it perhaps sounds silly, but here in iceland it is very hard to get yeast, and...

    Kveðjur frá Íslandi

it was mainly for raggi to know about the website. but it sure is good to know that you can think warmly about iceland. most of the publicity now is about how we are fu**ing up the international flight paths and the fact that our banking system managed to create a larger fraud than ENRON...

velkominn raggi, i suggest that you check out http://www.fagun.is which is the icelandic homebrewers community. we just had our first national competition (ever) 2 weeks ago. beer was just made legal in 1989 so we have a lot of caching up to do :)

    4 soda kegs keggerator

the idea was that i could set 3 kegs to serving or storing pressure, shut of its valves, and force carb one. anyway it gives me some possibilities. most likely i will use the same pressure on most of the kegs and adjust with different serving tube length.

    New fermentation chamber build
