Re-draft or not?

This is going to be a mess. Even though we can't do an official Yahoo draft, we can go into a chat room and do an old-school draft.

Should we re-draft tonight, try to remember our picks, or re-draft after week one?
 
Try to remember our picks. If that doesn't work, re-draft (fresh) next week. Old-school draft won't work if any individual can't be there, and this is really short notice for folks. Better to lose a week and get it done right, if we can't all remember.

Rod'll have to have time to get the data into Yahoo!'s systems before kickoff for it to count for this week, anyway. Not sure how much of a bi*ch that'll be.

It will be a PITA, but come on, we drafted this less than 24 hours ago. Try to do it....please. Post your players.

If everyone could remember at least their best four or five players, could we have Rod put those in the system manually and autodraft from round 6 on? Not ideal, but might be an option to get teams picked and have this done before Thursday night.

Please post again what you had. I think that was right. Your kicker was Shayne Graham because I remember making a comment about that you'd be pissed about it.

No, we have not. That may be the only solution. Even if we autodraft, we're not guaranteed to have results by tomorrow evening.

Have we heard from everyone in the League? Does everyone know there's a problem?
 
I know Todd doesn't get home until late and neither do I. I'm prepared to start the manual draft at 10 ct and have all the teams loaded by tomorrow afternoon. I know the time will suck for everyone, but it will suck most for me as I have an additional hour or so of work to do after we're done.

For those unable to make it, we'd have to pick the best team possible for them. Any objections?

I emailed everyone via the league tool and posted here. I warned those that were playing that that would be the 2 methods of communication I'd use for the league. I'm sure at least one person will miss, but I don't quite know what else to do.
 
Just checked, CBS Sportsline doesn't have any draft slots until 9/11.

If we re-draft tonight, is it fresh and clean? Starting over from scratch?

We can just print out the Yahoo! rankings and give anyone who's not there the highest-ranking player remaining on the board. If we go this route, that is.

Do you realize how many pissed off people we're going to have when we all start taking players a round earlier than last night since we missed out on a certain someone? Is there anyone here who didn't cringe at least once when someone else took your next pick? I feel that could only lead to trouble and a few people quitting the league.

If this were a FF forum, we'd all be pissed for good reason (direct your anger at Yahoo), but this is supposed to be fun thing to do with our Brothers in Brew (and Sisters, Yoop, but Siblings lacks in alliteration).

Give me a team, any team.
We all have to brew with the aluminum, bleach and sparge method we're dealt.

I can't believe everyone doesn't have a fairly good idea what team they drafted....



However, I am willing to go ahead and draft again, as long as everyone gets their first round pick (or 2) from yesterday. We can do that on the buddy system, I propose.

I was pretty satisfied with this, and I voted to redraft maually. But I'll live with whatever.
 
I did post my team, and except for about two that I got in the last couple of rounds, I remember them all. Could we do that- draft the same team? What does that mean for Desert, Bird and Boston, who were autodrafted? I remember Boston had LT because I was hoping I would get him, and I picked second. Other than that, I don't remember the other teams.

And that you for considering me a "brother in brew" and not forgetting about me! Sorry, Squirrels, but Siblings in Suds sounds like a really bad incestuous movie. Or do I just have a pornographic mind?
