Hi all,
I’m enjoying a double ipa we made with Helio Gazer. A bit of a one note Samba, but a nice beer! This is our first trial with thiolized yeasts. Normally, to get the full NEIPA taste, we have to step up the gravity and get a 6%+ beer. Commercial breweries seem to do the same. I am wondering if thiolized yeasts might offer an alternative to higher gravity. Has anyone brewed a hazy IPA at 4% using thiolized yeasts and gotten the tastes of a stronger NEIPA? If so, details…
TIA,
Bret
