Coolships

Large shallow wort cooling vessel, 20-30cm deep, usually made from copper. The hot wort is sprayed in, aerating it in the process, then let to air cool. Trub settles out as the cool break occurs and once the correct temperature is reached the cool wort is drained off to the fermenting vessel. More info
