Definition:
A Lagerator is a term used to describe a refrigerator or freezer that is used to control the temperature of a fermenting beer. It differs from a kegerator only in definition of use. Every lagerator is a kegerator, but not every kegerator is a lagerator. Lagerators are used for controlled fermentation, crash cooling, or lagering only. A kegerator can be used for all these purposes and serving a keg too.
