We went to the south of France and had one day that warm, but the high the next day was 13C. In our area we've had a couple of days around 20, but nothing warmer than that. It's scary that your temperature is so high so early.

Advice on how to enjoy homebrewing over the years without becoming an alcoholic.

My wife is much like your ex, but she pulls that stunt one or 2 times per year. I'm convinced that there is a genetic component but it's not the determining factor in who becomes an alcoholic and who doesn't. Normal days here are like normal days in the states, with regular sized meals and...

Advice on how to enjoy homebrewing over the years without becoming an alcoholic.

My wife came to France in early December, I didn't get here until the end of February, so I cooked for myself for 3 months. I ended up losing 15 pounds because I cooked and ate reasonable amounts daily, cut way back on booze without our daily cocktail hour, and only one couple was invited for...

In 2019 my boss pissed me off so I quit and took a year off to work on our new (to us)house in the woods. A year later I was talking to several companies about going back to work, but Covid hit, I was eligible for my SS, so I retired. Best decision ever.

I have thought about quitting but it has been such a huge part of my life for 32 years, it's like cutting off my arm. I will still brew 10 gallon batches but make 2 very different beers from one session.
