I need to brew an Ordinary Bitter, recipe review

I envy you for that! We just don’t usually see it here in the US. I see very little British beer except for stuff like Boddington’s in nitro cans. Fullers London Pride or ESB are around in 4 pack bottles. Bitter is rare, Mild here is non-existstent. Even Bass ale which I used to see all the...

I need to brew an Ordinary Bitter, recipe review

They’re all over the place and they’re not even consistent with each other. One brewery’s Best is the same as another brewery’s Ordinary. Another brewery’s Best is the same as somebody else’s Strong.

Beer engine "cellar" chamber solutions - photos, please

I put it above in #8. No I don’t have a real cask. I have it set up to use a corny keg. I have to vent the pressure release. Leave the pressure release open. Work the hand pump. Close the pressure release and re-pressurize when I’m done. Store the keg in my kegerator. I don’t have any way to...

Thanks. Total Wine helps. We have one that is about a 40 min drive. And there’s another discount beer place here. I just got that 30 pack of Strohs for $10. And 2 cases of Ultra in bottles also $10 each. Hard to pass for about .33 a can/bottle

Was a work in progress for awhile. Took years to get to this. And I know its not as nice as what some others here have. After we finished this basement I found a 5 foot wood bar with a footrail and mirror back bar at a consignment shop. Then I found the buffet server at another consignment...
