I was given an Oak barrel. The person that gave it to me said its 5 gallons and it was to be used for kombucha.
Im wondering if I can use this for anything? Maybe ferment? or age? I dont think the lid makes a great seal. But i dont know much about using oak barels. The inside has...

Yea, don't do this. Brewed a couple weeks ago and it is pretty terrible.
I guess it was worth a shot? who knows, I definitively now know what "extract twang" tastes like. I guess theres that.
If its old just throw it away or use it to Bake?
once the technology catches up and you are able to charge your vehicle as fast as you can fill it up with gas I believe it will be a short time after that where most, if not all, vehicles are electric. I know this cause I work in Finance.
Personally if I can charge fast at home or at a station...
I had someone give me a old Mr beer keg kit. It came with the keg fermenter and a few bottles. Also a random thing of LME.
As this was free im more inclined to brew it up and see what happens. But is there any health and safety reasons i should not? It expired in 2015....

Picked up a gallon of cider at Whole Foods.
what yeast should I use? Montrachet, cotes de Blanc, or a package or mr beer yeast? I could always order some if you have any suggestions on other strains.
