Sorry, not sure parting out the good stuff would be smart unless i manage to get the main unit out the door. I'll revisit if i get any offers that need just the conical itself, as I do have all the accessories.
Ever find the controller? I've got a Electric Brewery clone that i may be selling... handles 4x elements (2x HLT, 1x RIMS, 1x BK), three pumps (1x DC for hlt + 2x chugger 120v), 3x temp probe inputs.
I'm in WA though, shipping would be something else as it's quite heavy.
Manage to get ourself a conical yet? I've got a cf10 w/ all the extra's and a chiller that i may be tryin to unload in favor of a smaller setup (renting a house now).
I'm in Seattle, so 12hr drive... might be worth it if you find yourself in the area anyway. Be willing to toss the chiller in...
FYI, i think there is a bootloop on the firmware that BrewFlashser is issuing for 1.1.3; when i download/install it i get white screen after successful programming.
If I pick the "alpha" 1.1.3 for TFT it works fine. not sure if i'm having a personal issue, but flashing any of the normal...
Heads up... was just refreshing one of my TFTP models that was on an older 1.0.x and kept getting a white screen after flash succeeded using BrewFlasher to 1.1.3; I tried erase flash and various flash speeds to see if that was the issue... using the "beta d32_pro_tft v1.1.3-alpha" worked.
I...
Yeah, just size the pump ... not sure on the math for GPH and how many you have. I have 2 fermenters and use a 1600gph pond pump that cost aprox $75 (Amazon.com).
I used 1/2" pvc to build the manifold, 4 "outputs" with a 1/2 ball valve and 4 "inputs" after. The 1/2 provides a path for glycol...
Do yourself a favor... if you're chilling more than 3-4x fermenters then use one pump and build a glycol distribution. That way you can use one hose, and use solenoids to turn a valve on/off for each fermenter rather than using pumps for each fermenter.
it'll be cheaper and easier in the long...
same issues with doing RIMS and trying step mashing with ferulic rest. You need to be extra careful about duty cycle on that element... i've burned two batches playing with this so now I just do an infusion step first then step after step 2 start using the element. I mash in extra thick at...
this is possible using tuya... but it requires some extra work. They use the v3 version require not just an ID and IP but also a key. The key is generated every time the device "pairs" with a service. You have to use an SSL/HTTPS proxy on your phone to intercept the key. Once you have the...
FYI, went with the 2" valve and a reducer on a 3 port lid... it was much easier to coax the hops down. I still had to move the valve open/shut quite a few times but probably worth it if you have not already purchased 1.5" stuff.
I used a 1.5" to 2" reducer to get a 2" BF valve. Then used a 2"...
atlref, make sure you're using the latest firmware on tiltbridge and the latest fermentrack. There were some updates a while back for the tilt pro to support decimals and the payload sent via http caused some grief for me initially setting up. As of the most current releases my tiltbridge...
Ah, okay... then i'd probably want to see the fermentation log that you started to confirm, but those numbers look right if you consider the yeast is heating just fine. It's probably 18h idle because the kveik yeast are actively keeping the beer temp close to 40degC. The fridge set point...
Something strange going on here.. are you fermenting a Kviek yeast strain? It says degC, the beer target is 40degC which would be 104degF. The fridge target is 45degC which would be 113degF.
Did you program (F)reedom units as target values not seeing the (C) for Celsius? Or is this for a...
