Poll: Do you have, or plan to get, an electric car?

Quick read says they did come with 120V chargers for some time, but at some point stopped including them and instead offered an incentive to upgrade to a L2 / 240V charger. Does that sound right?

Poll: Do you have, or plan to get, an electric car?

It came with no charging cord or it came with a 240 cord? Option, standard?

Far as I ever knew all EVs typically come with a 120V (North America, anyway) charging cord. As others have said or alluded to, you can upgrade from there if you want faster charge but that included cord does facilitate the basic function.

    Carboy problems

Dunno... to me anyway seems like between trying to fix and confirmation of fix that $50-$60 cost of replacement (or less if going PET) seems like a fair trade.

    Micro Matic Nitrogen Regulator Question

I'd read you ordered a different CGA nipple. My comment was more of a FWIW/FYI type of deal if someone is looking for orings.

    Roasting Quaker Old Fashion Oats?

Occasionally I'll roast some pecans or other raw nuts. Same type of deal, they go from nicely roasted to burnt real quick and they're a whole lot bigger pieces so I can imagine how quickly the oats might go.

    Windows 11

The only Windows OS I had enough issues with to flat out dump before the normal course of change was Windows ME. Try as I might, never could find semblance of stability with that one.

    Micro Matic Nitrogen Regulator Question

Don't know where you live, but around here auto parts stores, fleet/farm type stores, ag/implement dealers, etc., all have oring assortments where odds are good there'll be one that works.

Help Wiring AC Side of BrewPi... Yet Again

Just goes to reinforce a good rule of thumb for troubleshooting. Good first place to start looking is where you last/most recently "fixed" something.

Gee whiz, what are you guys doing for corn these days?

Considering cost of gas, hassle of the harrowing drive, et al, what does the total cost per pound end up at?

    Pressure Gauge Errors

Didn't watch the videos due to location presently with limited bandwidth. But, a dry gauge would address the issue and I'm aware that Wika for sure, and likely others, makes liquid filled gauges with open/closed valves on them to facilitate equalization. Of course, that type of venting valve...

Gee whiz, what are you guys doing for corn these days?

Out of curiosity I put 20lb flaked corn in a cart at RiteBrew. It would be $2.08/lb delivered to my door. Rice would be $2.26/lb delivered.

    Pressure Gauge Errors

OK, well, I was going with generally plausble situations since I presume you're not really trying to imply your gauge was built on top of Everest and you're using it in Death Valley type of deal.

    Pressure Gauge Errors

On the presumption it actually works that way, and not sure either way, 4.5 PSI would be a stretch given the difference between the highest and lowest ever recorded barometric pressures is ~3 PSI. Considering a range of more normal min/max barometer, it's around 1 PSI.
