    Another water question

    Was planning on brewing yoopers oatmeal stout and it seems to get my pH to 5.5 I'd need alot of baking soda to correct it. Like 5.5 grams, which as you would think, made my sodium (101 ppm) and bio carb (233 ppm) skyrocket.Im willing to also use pickling lime but even with that my biocarb seems...

    Another "beer didnt carb" thread

    Brewed a flapjack oatmeal stout from the forum back in January. Bottled it in March. Made a priming solution that should've got me to about 2.0-2.2. Been open bottles with 0 to just a mm of carbonation after a hard pour. Ive relocated the bottles to a warm place in my house for months...

    Coffee malt

    Have about 7 oz of coffee malt left over from making m00ps flapjack stout. Any ideas where to use em? Ive read it has more of a toasted bread flavor. My stouts still in the bucket. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
