First time poster and absolute beginner with mead. I’m a fledgling wine grower and maker, however the maker part has been tough going. I just had to toss all of the 2023 vintage Merlot… found out the hard way, the growing season for Merlot is not long enough in Western Washington. So I replanted my small vineyard with Pino-Noir Percoce… however while that takes time to establish, why let all the equipment sit around? I like mead… here I am.
