Hello! I am new to fermenting and making mead. This is my second time. I just set these up yesterday and I noticed today there is a thick layer on the top. I don't see this in my other one. I put both together at the same time. This also didn't happen with my last Mead. I'm curious if this is something I should be alarmed about? Or leave it be. If I do leave it be, how do I add yeast nutrients since it looks like whatever I put in would just sit at the top and not go into solution.
