Brewed a 2.5 gallon batch of Rauchbier Saturday on my recently purchased PicoBrew Z. I enjoy that so much more than the Anvil 10.5 I bought after my original Z was lost in a fire.

I lost my Z and a bunch of repair parts in a fire two years ago. Since then I have been using an Anvil,10.5 which is OK but miss the automation of the mindless portion of brewing. Has anything else come onto the market to replace the Z?

EVs are definitely urban commuter cars. I live in rural Iowa. I want a car that can travel reasonable distances (400+ miles) when it is -10to -20°F and refill in under 10 minutes.

I brewed on nothing but a Zymatic and then a Z for five years and unfortunately lost the Z and a nice supply of parts in a fire. No name, and I do not name my beers either. I do make paper labels using InDesign but they just say what kind of beer and brew info like “Porter / Brew No. 74 / November 25, 2022.” Oh, and I only bottle, kegging and maintaining everything is too big of a pain in the ass considering I drink it...

Boulevard August Schells New Glarus Boulevard cleans up the easiest bu they all do OK. After soaking and pealing I use a scotch brite pad, takes about 10 seconds. Boulevard also has a lot of beers that come in the tapered neck style bottle.

I got an ITC-308-WFI about six weeks ago and am using it now. Absolutely great controller. Everyone can easily use two of them.
