    I imagine this probably wouldn't be anything like that. I just bought lychee nectar at Costco, added a little nutrient, and pitched cider yeast. I fermented dry and I bottled conditioned it. Fairly tart; a bit of honey at serving helps boost the perception of fruitiness.

    The observation that ingredient prices are up 36% since 2020 is pretty much in line with a recent WSJ piece that described food inflation since 2019 (I think) as up 33%.

    1.75 gal cream ale (?) - 42% two row, 33% rice, 25% cornmeal; Cascade and OG 1.045 1273.75 + 1.75 = 1285.5

    Drove 7 hours Sunday to OH and arrived to find my hotel had cancelled my room without telling me. Found another (pricier) one and spent the eclipse on the shore of Erie. Got a few nice Pinhole effect pictures and was amazed to see totality, 360° twilight, and the "diamond ring". Worth the crazy...
