    new Sauerkraut..and tomorrow - kimchi

    hi all, I've started some Sauerkraut today (well, I'm a Kraut, so what). I'm always a bit bewildered how much the cabbage is reduced during the process...three big heads and a bag of carrots went into 4 tiny jars. Tomorrow I'll get the gochugaru and fish sauce (?) and make some kimchi, I hope...

    Hi all, I've just found this forum on my search for more information, and it proved a good source so far ;-) At the moment I'm browsing the DIY threads, since I'm building a new system atm. I was brewing quite a bite some 20 years ago, somehow that stopped when the kids and the house came up...
