I have a thread going about a road trip I'm about to make (https://www.homebrewtalk.com/showthread.php?t=598628) But have re-thought some things and decided to change my route. I'm cutting out vegas and instead going a little further south in Cali to get a few more brewery stops in. The main target is The Lost Abbey, it's going to be a little more driving but I think it should be worth it to get to one of my favorite breweries. The question... The Confessional is the most convenient stop/adds the least time and mileage, for those that have been to both there and the main brewery, is the main brewery worth the extra ~1.5 hours that it would add to my trip, or will the Confessional get me the full experience?
I know The Bruery will be on my route now as well, any other hidden gems for great sour/wild beer I should hit?
This is the route i've got in mind as of today:
