Hi everyone,
I wanted to share my fermentation chamber.
It's just a giant pizza delivery bag with a hole cut out for the spunding valve, an airlock would work too. My 7.9 gallon all rounder fits pretty well. Also, because I live in an apartment, the bag folds up nicely when I'm not using it.
The delivery bag I use is 20x20x14. You can get one on Amazon for about $26. The Fermzilla insulating jacket is $50...Fermzilla's does look nicer though...
In my experience so far, 1 frozen 2 liter bottle will hold the wort at about 64F and 2 will hold it at 61F changed every 12 hours with an ambient temperature of about 72F. Obviously it's not perfect control, but for the money I think it's a good solution and sometimes I accidently make good beer!
